Before you can get your site online, you have to set up your own unique domain name. A domain name is your www.your site name.com or org or whatever you decide, For instance, www.shadowcastgraphics.com. I have found one of the easiest and probably one of the safest groups to use is Dotster. Dotster is one of the pioneers of domain names. Click the Picture link to your right to go to the dotster website and check to see is your name is taken. Then start your account.

Hosting is the space out there, where you store all your website files and pages. I have had great luck with ix webhosting. They have many different plans to suit your needs. I have found their tech's to be very friendly and explain in great detail how to set up your account and keep it up and running. Once you have created your account, Shadow Cast Graphics can manage it for you or you can manage it yourself. ix webhosting in my opinion is the only way to go for your hosting needs.
